Bio: Since I was in elementary school I have been highly enthused by computers and mainly games. One game in specific, Runescape, ever since my friend, Dragostea Din Tei, introduced it to me. This same person also introduced me to HTML. Ever since I have been playing Runescape and doing website coding. In both I have far surpassed my friend, sorry :P. After a while I was inspired by Runescape to create my own game and thus Jaswin was created. Since then the dream of creating a huge MMORPG has somewhat dwindled, yet still lives on. I have been trying to learn how to create games with different languages and different programs. I have taken a few classes even, but nothing 'worthwhile' honestly. The best I can do so far with these classes is create small, sprite based games. I hope to take this further into creating full 3D games in the (near) future, so, expect some stuff ;). A while later I was still learning web coding, mainly PHP, and I had become fairly good with the coding. Not so well that I would say I was an 'Expert' but definitely 'Advanced'. One day I saw an ad on RuneHQ, a very popular Runescape fan site, saying the needed Site Coders. I quickly picked up opportunity to learn more and get experience. I was checking my messages daily to see if I was accepted, I felt I had provided an excellent resume and that I was going to be accepted for sure. Sadly, I was not accepted :'(. Only to find out a few days later that it was a mistake and I was actually accepted! The only problem was my parents were kind of skeptical about it, but they agreed in the end, and I currently work for RuneHQ as a Site Coder and have learned a fair amount so far. So, it's a good thing after all.
Jaswin: While creating Jaswin, the website, I learned a lot about web coding and throughout the years it has developed into what it is now. Besides being a site for games and technology, Jaswin originally didn't have much to offer except a couple basic games I created while learning how to create games which are now no longer available. The first real thing offered here at Jaswin was the Runescape signatures which came about when my friend wanted me to help him make a Runescape fan site. I agreed and it was going somewhere, but not very far or very fast to say the least. One of the projects he assigned me to do was to create some dynamic signatures that got the high scores of a specified user from Runescape and simply put them in a pleasing looking image. I was still pretty much a novice with PHP , yet stronger with it then my colleague. It took some work, but I finally got the basic coding done and it did what I wanted it to. Unfortunately the Runescape fan site fell out and I was left with this code that I spent a lot of time on...So, I decided to host it up on Jaswin. Since then the signatures have matured to what they are now and I have added several different options including Steam signatures. Several other features have also been added to the site such as Jasweets, Source maps, and most recently tutorials. I hope to see Jaswin flourish into the MMORPG that it was once going to be, but until then Jaswin will continue to provide what it does and whatever I want it to do :P.
